How to get here :
By
Tube / Underground
Take the District Line to Upminster
Station. When you come out of the station, turn left.
Keep walking until you come to a big set of traffic
lights. Cross straight over at the lights and keep
walking. You will see a McDonalds on your left, and
we are about 100 meters past there, on the left.
By Train
Trains for Upminster leave from Fenchurch
Street station (the closest underground station
to Fenchurch street is Tower Hill, which is on
the District and Circle lines). Not all trains
from Fenchurch St. stop at Upminster, so make sure
you get on one that does! When you get out of Upminster
station, turn left. Keep walking until you come
to a big set of traffic lights. Cross straight
over at the lights and keep walking. You will see
a McDonalds on your left, and we are about 100
meters past there, on the left.
By Car
From the A12
Coming from the London side of Upminster
- Follow the A12 until you see the Gallows Corner
flyover. Go over the flyover on to the A127, DO
NOT follow the A12 to Brentwood! Go through the
next set of lights, past the Palms motel, then
take the next exit for Upminster (go to paragraph
3).
Coming from the Southend side of Upminster - DO
NOT take the B186 Upminster exit! Go past the M25
exit, and take the next Upminster exit. At the top
of the slip road, turn left.
Follow this road until you come to a mini-roundabout.
Go straight over, and follow the road until, you
hit a big set of traffic lights. Go straight over
at the lights. You will see a McDonalds on your left,
and we are about 100 meters past there. Do not park
in front of the shop or you WILL get a ticket! There
is a car park behind the BP garage another 100 meters
past the shop on the right.
From the A13
Coming from London, follow the A13,
past Dagenham and the Ford works, into Rainham. When
you see Rainham Police station, turn left into Upminster
Road North (this should be sign posted for Upminster).
Follow this road, thorugh the width restriction, past
the cemetery, right to the end. At the end (you will
see Bramble Lane opposite), turn left. Follow the road
until you come to a mini-roundabout, then turn right
into Harwood Hall Lane. At the end of this road (its
a bit of a weird junction), turn left into Corbets
Tey Road. Follow this road until you start to see the
shops, and you will see a BP garage on the left. Turn
left at the garage (as if you were turning into the
garage), and there is a car park behind it. The shop
is on the opposite side of the road, about 100 meters
further on. DO NOT PARK IN FRONT OF THE SHOP or you
will get a ticket.
From the M25
Turn off the M25 at junction 29.
On the roundabout, take the A127 exit towards London
and Romford. Take the first exit off the A127 for
Upminster. At the top of the slip road, turn left.
Follow this road until you come to a mini-roundabout.
Go straight over, and follow the road until, you
hit a big set of traffic lights. Go straight over
at the lights. You will see a McDonalds on your
left, and we are about 100 meters past there.DO
